Novo Blinds Limited Warranty
At Novo Blinds, we are dedicated to providing our customers with high-quality products and an exceptional experience. We stand firmly behind the craftsmanship and durability of our blinds and offer the following limited warranties to ensure your satisfaction.
Please retain your original purchase receipt as proof of purchase. This warranty is valid only for the original retail purchaser and is non-transferable.
What is Covered:
Our limited warranty covers defects in materials, workmanship, and failure to operate under normal use and conditions for the specified periods below. Repair and/or replacement will be made with like or similar parts or products available at the time of claim.
A. Blinds and Shades
Corded Blinds and Shades: Covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product. This includes all internal mechanisms, components, brackets, and operational cords.
Cordless Blinds and Shades (Spring System): Covered by a Limited 3-Year Warranty from the date of original purchase.
B. Motorization
External Battery Motors: Covered by a Limited 5-Year Warranty from the date of original purchase.
In-Built Battery Motors: Covered by a Limited 2-Year Warranty from the date of original purchase.
C. Installation and Service
Initial Product Installation Warranty: Service calls related to initial product installation are free of charge for ONE (1) year following the original installation date.
Drapery Installation Warranty: Novo Blinds provides a 30-day installation warranty on any type of drapery installation. Clients must report any required installation adjustments or changes within this 30-day period.
What is NOT Covered:
This limited warranty does not cover conditions or damages resulting from:
Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to fading, discoloration, or minor stretching of materials over time.
Abuse, misuse, accidental damage (e.g., ripping of fabric), neglect, or any alteration to the product not authorized by Novo Blinds.
Damage caused by environmental factors, including but not limited to wind, storms, water, excessive humidity, or exposure to corrosive elements.
Damage due to improper cleaning, maintenance, or failure to follow product care instructions.
Any power supply accessories for motors.
Damage to motors or batteries caused by power surges, fluctuations, or any other electrical power issues not inherent to the motor itself.
The cost of removal and reinstallation of blinds or shades if the client requests to change window glass:
Before one (1) year from the original installation date, if such changes necessitate the removal and reinstallation of our product.
In all cases, after one (1) year from the original installation date.
Installer visits for drapery hardware adjustments or changes reported after the 30-day installation warranty period. Such visits will be subject to a service charge.
In-house service calls requested after one (1) year from the original installation date. These service calls will be subject to applicable charges.
How to Make a Warranty Claim:
To make a warranty claim, please contact Novo Blinds customer service with your original purchase receipt and a detailed description of the issue. Our team will guide you through the process, which may include product inspection or return.
Novo Blinds reserves the right to determine the validity of all warranty claims.
